Product Description
Disney Girlfriends, designed for girls ages 9-12, lets players exchange e-mail, trading cards, and web pages, as well as chat with other users who own the software package. Other features include scrapbook pages, fortune-telling games, and creation of a personalized address book containing such details as friends' favorite television shows or ice cream flavors. Personal photos can be incorporated into many activities, along with many decorative stamps and stickers.All activities are accessed using an intuitive interface that depicts a desk and a window on the main screen. Players select their favorite Disney princess (Ariel, Belle, or Jasmine) to act as hostess, and can customize the look of the room by changing the plants, picture and frame, lamp, and curtains, as well as the season, the butterfly on the windowsill, and the radio station. Parental controls are available to limit interaction only with authorized individuals, and passwords can be used to ensure individual access on one system. An Internet connection is required to use the on-line activities in Disney Girlfriends. A small bag containing two mini-nail polishes is included in the box. ~ Hilary Williams, All Game Guide

Cons:
has to know some one with the game or the email doesn't work I found this game to be a wonderful expreiance for my daughter. They have an email alert that sits on the desktop to tell her when she has email as well as TON's of games for her to play without going online.
The only draw back that I found is that you should know in advance to buy 2. You have to have a code from the people you want to exchange email with or the email part will not work. So if you are getting this for your daughter be sure one of her friends already has one and if not then you might want to allow her to give a second copy to a friend so that they can exchange emails.
I would highly recommend this game to anyone with a daughter.
