Cons:  Noisy, skips, won't play, remote You'd think a company like Sony would put a little more effort into their products. They certainly didn't with this one.

The first thing I noticed as I unboxed this was that the remote had no on/off button. With the other 1500 buttons on it that would hardly ever get used, you'd think they'd be smart enough to have a power button!

The very fisrt CD I put in would not load. The player went right by it as if it weren't there. So, I shut it off & restarted it. Worked fine but very noisy.

A week later, same problem..different disc. Same fix.

After a month, it was getting to be a major pain. Almost every disc was not readable & it was getting even louder.

I returned it and was offered another player..the same player. I accepted it figuring I could have just had the 1 in a million lemon. 3 months I put up with the same problems and now it quit working period.

What does Sony Customer Support say? Well, first you can only get them to answer at odd hours and second all they want to do is have you send it in which leaves you with nothing but a shipping bill that costs more than the P.O.S. is worth.

Goodbye Sony!
