Rampage 2: Universal Tour Nintendo 64

Product Description

They said it wouldn't happen again, but sure enough, it did. ~Scumlabs International had another accident with horrific results -- three more workers have transformed into enormous beasts Now cities will have to deal with Curtis, a rather muscular rat; Boris, a rhino with a razor-sharp horn; and Ruby, a giant red lobster complete with crushing claws. It looks like the trio's monster comrades (George, Lizzie and Ralph) are in captivity, so the latest victims of ~Scumlabs International are taking a little trip to spring them loose

Rampage 2: Universal Tour is the sequel to 1998's Rampage: World Tour, an arcade update that featured 2D romp-and-stomp action through various cities around the globe. As in the original, the game has you playing as one of three monsters while you seek to crush buildings and lay waste to everything around you. In between the destruction, players can also snack on humans, grab power-ups and attack the armed forces single-handedly. Once all of the buildings are destroyed, your character can advance to the next level.

Rampage 2: Universal Tour will take you to three continents (~Asia, ~North America and ~Europe) in your search for the missing monsters. More than 125 levels are at your disposal to kick, punch or stomp anything that moves, and each creature has a special attack to make things a little more interesting. Bonus points are awarded for picking up items inside buildings as well as keeping the hordes of enemies at bay, including police, tanks, helicopters, soldiers and jets. In order to survive this chaos, each of the playable characters is rated in three areas: walking, climbing and punching.

Other notable features include the ability to configure the controls, adjust sound levels and play on one of three difficulty levels. Up to three players can also participate in the mayhem, and they can choose whether to suffer damage from each other or to share lives. Rampage 2: Universal Tour supports feedback devices such as Nintendo's own ~Rumble Pak as well as the ~Controller Pak to save progress. Players can also continue their game via passwords provided at the end of each level. ~ Brad Penniment, All Game Guide
